Written in two languages. Translated from neither.
For global brands that treat Indonesia as a core market, and Indonesian brands that speak to the world. Landing pages, SEO content and tutorials, campaign copy, and product microcopy, written by native writers in each language from one voice guide, by a language house that has served 200+ global brands since 2009.
See the difference.
Four sentences common to any digital product. The middle column is a correct translation. The right column is what we would write, and why.
-
Homepage headline
SourceGet your website online in minutes. No coding needed.
A correct translationDapatkan situs web Anda online dalam hitungan menit. Tidak diperlukan pengodean.
What we writeWebsite jadi dalam hitungan menit. Tanpa perlu bisa coding.
Indonesians type and say “website” and “coding”; “situs web” and “pengodean” are dictionary words, not market words. The pronoun is dropped: Indonesian advertising speaks through the result, not to the reader.
-
Button
SourceStart your free trial
A correct translationMulai uji coba gratis Anda
What we writeCoba gratis
A button is read in a fraction of a second. Two words are enough, and “Anda” on a button is the trace of translation readers spot first.
-
Tutorial opening
SourceIn this guide, you will learn how to create a website from scratch.
A correct translationDalam panduan ini, Anda akan mempelajari cara membuat situs web dari awal.
What we writePanduan ini mengajak Anda membuat website dari nol, langkah demi langkah.
“Dari nol” is what people type into the search box; “dari awal” far less often. “Anda” stays because a tutorial does address its reader; an ad does not. The opening line of a tutorial is the cheapest SEO sentence there is, and the most often wasted.
-
The other direction, Indonesian to English
SourceSudah dipercaya 10.000 pelaku UMKM di seluruh Indonesia.
A correct translationAlready trusted by 10,000 MSME actors throughout Indonesia.
What we writeTrusted by 10,000 small businesses across Indonesia.
“MSME actors” is a word-for-word copy of “pelaku UMKM”. No English reader says it, and the “already” at the front is Indonesian grammar left behind.
One brand, three channels, three vocabularies.
The homepage says “situs web”, the tutorials say “website”, the ads say something else. Readers don’t complain, but they feel they are reading three companies. One locked glossary, used in ads, product pages, tutorials, email, and the help center, is the cheapest job with the most visible effect. It is the first thing we do.
What we write
Landing pages and product pages
Page structure, headlines, feature copy, pricing, FAQs, down to button labels and error messages. We write the order of the page before we write its sentences.
SEO content, tutorials, and help centers
Articles, step-by-step guides, and pillar pages built from Indonesian keyword research, not English keywords run through a translator. Written to be found by search engines, quoted by AI assistants, and still pleasant for people to read.
Campaign and ad copy
Campaign concepts, headlines, taglines, ad scripts, social copy, and email. Several directions to choose from, not one version to guess at.
Product microcopy and lifecycle email
Interface text, onboarding, notifications, transactional email, and error states. Short sentences read millions of times, so worth writing on purpose.
Voice guides and glossaries
One document that defines tone, vocabulary, locked terms, and do-and-don’t examples in both languages. Your in-house team and your AI tools write with it after we’re done.
Transcreation and editing
Existing campaigns adapted across languages, keeping the effect rather than the word order. Includes editing copy you already have, AI-generated drafts included.
How we plug into a content team that already runs.
Most of our clients already have a content team, a brand guide, and a workflow. We work inside them, not around them.
Inside your systems
Your briefs, templates, CMS, and localization tools. Our glossary lives in your termbase, not in our spreadsheet.
SEO briefs honored
Primary and secondary keywords, heading structure, internal links, and target length. We don’t write good articles nobody can find.
Scheduled capacity
On a retainer, the number of pieces, delivery days, and the named writers are agreed up front. Month four looks like month one.
Two layers of review
A writer, then an editor who checks facts, terms, and spelling. Our language house has run this layered review for 200+ brands.
Fluent with AI tooling
If your team drafts with AI, we write the rules that feed the tool and edit the output until it sounds like one brand.
Possibly your city
We work from Yogyakarta. If your team is here too, we can sit at the same table the same day.
How we write
Native writers in each language
Indonesian copy is written by Indonesian writers. English copy is written by writers who work in English every day. Both read the same brief.
Facts checked before publishing
Figures, names, product claims, and quotes are checked against their sources. Persuasive copy is worthless if it’s wrong.
One glossary across every channel
Product names, terms, and spellings are locked once, then used the same way in ads, on the website, on social, and in help pages.

Final, publish-ready copy, along with a glossary your team can keep using.
Frequently asked questions
Can we start with a small trial?
Yes, and we recommend it. Send one page or one article you have already published. We return the Indonesian or English version with a note on every decision, within a few working days. Judge us on that, not on this page.
We rely on AI for content. Why would we still need human writers?
Because what breaks at volume isn’t grammar, it’s voice and terminology. We write the rules that feed your tools, write the pieces that carry the brand ourselves, such as the homepage, campaigns, and pricing, and edit the rest until it sounds like one company.
How is this different from translating copy we already have?
Translation preserves what a sentence means. Bilingual copywriting preserves what it’s for. If you need a document that must stay faithful to its source, such as a contract or a manual, that’s work for Translexi, our parent company.
Can you work inside our tools and workflow?
Yes. Your briefs, templates, CMS, termbase, and localization tools. We prefer the glossary to live in your system, because that is where your team and your tools read it.
Is the writing done with AI?
Copy that carries the brand is written and edited by people. We use AI tools for research, checking, and variants, not to write the sentences you will publish. If you want a different arrangement, we define it together at the start.
Single project or monthly retainer?
Both. A single project suits a campaign, a website, or a voice guide. A retainer suits articles, tutorials, social content, and email that publish on a schedule.
Which languages do you cover?
Indonesian and English in both directions, including transcreation. For other languages, we work with Translexi.
Who owns the copy?
You do. All final copy, glossaries, and voice guides are yours.
The words are ready. Need the pictures?
Copy we write can go straight into production as ads, brand films, or social content with our video team.
